Key Running Goals of the Year:
- Complete first 200 miler staged race (Alps2Ocean)
- Complete first 48-hour track race (CBR48)
- Complete first 200 miler race on trail (Tahoe)
Two Bays 56km, VIC (DNS)
> I couldn’t participate in this race due to a last-minute family commitment.
UTA 100km, NSW (DNS)
> I need to pull out of this race to give space to a family commitment.
Cleland 50km, SA (DNS)
> This was going to be a birthday celebration event with a Big Red Run mate, but I couldn’t make it due to a last-minute family commitment. Missing UTA and Cleland means I need to backload my Tahoe campaign with more mileage. So I’ve revised the calendar to up the You Yangs to 100mi, with a local Sri Chinmoy during the preceding week as a warm-up.
The Clint Eastwood “Last One Standing”, QLD (12 laps, 81km)
> 6.83km/hr until last one falls, this simple backyard ultra format will be only the second of its kind in Australia (Mirrim Wurnit in VIC was the first)
