Flying in the Ilyushin IL-76

My top 3 insights:

  1. Bring earplugs, just in case they are not distributed during the flight.
  2. The toilet is very small, making “doing a number two” rather awkward; try doing your number two before the flight.
  3. Sitting on the aisle benches along side the cargo area towards the back might be more comfortable than in the normal seat rows; there is more leg room.
