Randomness

Randomness is one of those ideas that are commonly misunderstood.

After consulting the I Ching, George Harrison practised randomness and wrote “While My Guitar Gently Weeps”. This beautiful piece is not a product of effort; it is, in fact, a product of surrender. And the music did what it did when George was truly relaxed; it flowed through him.

One might see this event as random or not random, all depending on perspectives.
