So I got myself my first (unforced) DNF at the You Yangs miler, which means I’m now qualified as an ultrarunner ? The weather gods smiled upon us runners yesterday, but the night was deceptively cold. Julie and I had great support from generous friends and vollies. However, it was not our day. I pulled the plug after 63km. It had been hard going from the start, which means there were still physical issues to be sorted out. Well done @trailsplus Brett Saxon, vollies and runners for putting up a good show. It was very inspiring to see people giving their all on this challenging course.
